Elena Juanita Carpio Allen    

Elena Allen graduated Magna Cum Laude from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and minors in Sociology and Psychology. She serves as Program Coordinator for the Radically Inclusive Parenting Project and as Operations, Communications, and Program Coordinator for the Center for Engaged Compassion. In these roles, she supports programs and initiatives that nurture families’ faith, spirituality, and love, helping to connect parents and caregivers to contemplative practices, online gatherings, and resources through communications and social outreach. At the Center for Engaged Compassion, she also helps bring to life programs that teach compassion-based contemplative practices to spiritual directors, soul-care workers, and somatic practitioners, providing the support and coordination that allows these initiatives to thrive and reach their communities. Rooted in a deep commitment to compassion and justice, Elena strives to uplift the community to nurture spirituality and raise the next generation of children who thrive in a complex world. She considers her life and journey a blessing, grateful for how God has opened doors for her to serve others. Elena feels most grounded in the company of loved ones, whether cooking for family and friends or spending time outdoors, where she finds peace and connection.
