Andrew Dreitcer    

Andrew (Andy) Dreitcer, PhD, has been a professor of spirituality & spiritual formation, a spiritual director, a collaborator in the neuroscientific study of contemplative practices across religious traditions, an academic dean, and the founding director of one of the first spiritual direction programs in North America that was connected with graduate theological education. An award winning author, his spiritual life has been shaped by engagement with IFS, restorative justice work with incarcerated populations, and a year spent living at the French monastic community of Taizé. He and his life partner live in Oregon and have two adult daughters and 4 grandchildren.
