Dale Suggs has served as a local church pastor, hospice chaplain, spiritual director and nonprofit director.  Dale is the Co-Founder and Director of BELOVED Compassion Network (BCN).  BCN teaches the Compassion Practice and a myriad of compassion-based workshops, seminars and retreats.  In 2025, BCN envisioned, piloted and now hosts compassion-based support groups for Community Disaster Relief in Southern California and beyond. 

Retiring from congregational ministry in October 2026, Dale serves full-time at BCN as an administrator, teacher, speaker, retreat leader, and CP-facilitator trainer specializing both in nurturing embodied compassion and “breaking the silence” about mental health in religious communities.  Dale is married to Shelly Jones Suggs.  Together, they have 4 adult daughters, and 4 granddaughters.
