Sharon Conley Cottingham

Sharon Conley Cottingham is a Spiritual Director, Teacher, and Retreat Leader. Sharon’s faith journey has been shaped by a fascination with the spiritual life and a commitment to healing paths. It’s a journey that has consistently taken her to new and surprising places. In the past years, she has been energized by mindfulness-based compassion practices and a growing habit of kindness to self.   

She holds a B.S. in Secondary Education from Penn State University, an M.A. in theology from Regent College (Vancouver, B.C.), and a DMin in Spiritual Direction from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. Sharon spent many years as a staff member of The Upper Room in Nashville. She is also a graduate of Shalem's Soul of Leadership program.

Sharon makes her home in Nashville, TN with spouse Stephen and two well-loved Maltipoos. She is also a caregiver to her older sister, Janet, who lives just a mile away.
